By shopping at Note Editions / Note Design Studio AB, you accept our data protection policy and handling of your personal data. We make every effort to protect your personal privacy, and do not collect any more information than is necessary to process and complete your order. We will never sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent or legal basis. Note Design Studio AB is responsible for the processing if personal data that you have provided to us as a customer.
Your personal information is used and processed by us to be able to handle your order as well as if you have given us your permission to be added to our database or newsletter database, so we can adapt what you are sent to meet your needs.
Below is a summary of of how we, in accordance with Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), store and process your data.
10.1 What constitutes your personal data?
Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly attributed to a physical living person.

What information do we store?
In order to handle and process your order, and answer any questions you have regarding an order (ie. customer service), we store your first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address and purchase history.
Your information is stored as long as we have the legal basis to do so, for example to fulfil our agreement between us to comply with a legal obligation under, for example, the Accounting Act.

In connection with a purchase, your information is processed to complete the purchase agreement with you, the customer.
10.4 Which information is shared and for what purpose?
10.4.1 Payment provider
When making purchases, information is shared with our payment provider. They store first name, last name, address, email address, and telephone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, your social security or identification number is also stored with the payment provider.
The information is stored in order to carry out the purchase and protect parties against fraud.
The payment merchants we use are: Paypal
10.4.2 Shipping Company
In order to deliver your orders and complete our agreement we must share specific information with the shipping company. Information shared is: first name, last name and address for delivery. Your email and telephone number may also be required to complete delivery and notifications
The shipping company we work with is Fedex.
10.4.3 Newsletter
If you have chosen to sign up to our newsletter, we will share your first name, last name and email address with our newsletter supplier. This is to keep you updated with relevant information and offers from us. We use Mailchimp for our newsletters.
10.5 Right to Access Your Information
You have the right to access all your personal information we store securely. This will be delivered electronically in a readable format.
10.6 Right to Rectify
You have the right to request that we amend and update any information stored by us that is incorrect or defective.
10.7 Right of Removal
You can request that your personal information stored by us be deleted completely. There are a handful of exceptions, for example if it must be retained to fulfil a legal obligation (ie. Under the accounting act).
10.8 Responsibility and Security
We adhere to all regulations regarding the security and secure encryption of your personal information and update our protocol to meet changes in regulation.
10.9 How We Store and Encrypt Your Information
We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one way hash algorithms to store process and communicate sensitive information, personal data and passwords securely. We use the Swedish platform Quickbutik, run and maintained by Quickbutik AB based in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Changes to the General Terms and Conditions
- We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms and conditions will be posted online. The changed terms are considered accepted in connection with orders or visits to the website and web shop
Dispute and Choice of Law
- In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with the company's customer service and the customer, you as a customer can turn to the General Complaints Board, see arn.se. For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the European Commissions's dispute settlement platform, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- In the event of a dispute we follow the decision of the ARN, or corresponding dispute body.
- Disputes concerning or arising from the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
